• How to get there by public transportation?

  Accessibility	Starting point is the main railway station in Zurich with the tram stop "Bahnhofquai" being located on the east side. Tram route 13 in direction "Frankental" will take you directly to the museum (the respective stop is called "Wartau – Tram Museum". • How to get there by car?
  - From the city center to Escher Wyss Platz and then follow the tracks of tram route 13 to the museum.
  - If using the motorway / highway A1 from Berne exit at Zurich-Altstetten and follow the signs to "Höngg". At the end of the "Europa bridge" turn left until you reach the tram tracks. Turn right and follow the tram tracks to the museum.
  Please note there is no parking lot at the museum!

Opening times

• The museum and museum line (historic tram service from the main railway station) operate from April until October on the first Saturday and the last Sunday of each month from 13:00 until 18:00 hrs. (1.00 pm – 6 pm).

• The museum is also open year round every Wednesday evening from 19.00 – 21.30 hrs. (7 pm – 9.30 pm). There is no historic tram service on Wednesdays.
  Admission to the museum is free.
  The museum-shop and the mobileBAR are open during the regular museum opening ours.
