Experience
city culture on our "museum line"!The Zurich tram museum wants to be a live museum. Under the slogan "experience city culture" the museum line has operated regularly since 1989 between ‘Pestalozzi-Anlage’ (situated in between the Globus department store and Bahnhofstrasse) and the tram museum Wartau in Zurich-Höngg. The route is serviced by historic museum tramcars and operated by uniformed museum volunteers. Take a ride and enjoy a day in your grandparents’ trams!
The museum line operates on the first Saturday and last Sunday of each month from April to October. On these days, the museum is open from 13:00 – 18:00 hrs (1.00 pm – 6.00 pm).

There are always 2 museum cars (built between 1897 and 1949) in service – take your pick!
All regular ZVV-tickets are valid on the museum line. Ticket collectors may also buy a special day ticket and help to sponsor the museum through a small surcharge.
Year-round, the museum is also open on Wednesday evenings from 19:00 – 21:30 hrs. (7.00 pm – 9.30 pm), but no special tram service is being operated.
